Love Island host Laura Whitmore has been spotted out and about with her mum and baby daughter in Mallorca, Spain.

Laura, 36, was seen spending some quality time with her mum Carmel ahead of the launch of the new, high-anticipated series of Love Island.

Laura, who's voiceover husband Iain Stirling will remain in UK for the series, dressed in a black and pink floral mini dress, which she paired with a black cardigan.

She teamed her casual look with a black cross-over body back, which had a bright neon green strap along with a pair of white trainers.

Laura took a stroll in the shade with her baby daughter, who's name has been kept out of the limelight.

The tot was placed in a black stroller, which had a white blanket hanging out of it.

Love Island host Laura was joined by her mum Carmel, who wore a peach, sleeveless blouse and a blue floral patterned rucksack.

Carmel gave busy mum Laura a break from pushing her daughter in the pram as she walked alongside the TV presenter, who shielded her eyes with a pair of dark sunglasses.

Both mother and daughter wore matching face coverings as they strolled through the streets of Majorca, the Spanish island in which the Love Island villa is set.

The long-awaited series kicks off at 9pm on Monday 28 June. Fans have been waiting 18 months for their fix of the show, due to the ongoing pandemic and travel restrictions.

Laura, who recently opened up on what it takes to make the perfect Love Islander, recently admitted she hopes the series does the late Caroline Flack proud.

Caroline hosted the dating show before her tragic death in February 2020.

After the line up of sexy singletons was unveiled, Laura shared a snap of herself and shared her excitement with her followers before urging people to think before they post.

Laura penned: "I think we’re all ready for some love! Ahhhhhh! So excited to watch the new islanders.

"Hope you enjoy talking about them and following their journey and just a reminder to treat them with love, compassion and respect when they leave the show and go back to real life."

She then touchingly added: "Caroline I hope we do you proud."

The newbies have already attracted tonnes of attention from excited fans, with Sharon Gaffka already being the favourite to win.

However, Laura admitted she struggles to decide on a favourite as she recently said: "So when they come into the villa and they do the line-up, that’s the first time I’m meeting all of them as well.

"So I’m looking forward to that. It’s so funny because you change your opinion so much. You meet someone and you go, 'Oh, they’re my favourite.'

"And then I’ll have a different favourite by the next week. The first day, that’s the big day. And I love trying to guess who I think they’ll choose. I never get it right."

Love Island starts at 9pm Monday 28th June on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox
