Katherine Ryan appeared to allude to her comments about Russell Brand during a live appearance on Wednesday evening.
It's the first time the Canadian comedian and writer has appeared to acknowledge the comments since he was accused of rape and sexual assault this week.
During her on-stage appearance at the RTS Cambridge, Katherine, 40, joked about the obvious 'elephant in the room', after it was revealed she previously accused Brand of being a sexual predator.
It comes as the comedian-turned-Hollywood-star was accused of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse earlier this week. Russell Brand has strongly denied the previous accusations and said all his relationships were consensual.
According to MailOnline, Katherine insisted the 'elephant' she was referring to was her recent two-stone weight loss, as she avoided any further reference to her former colleague.
After rape and abuse allegations aimed at Brand were made public last week, former comments made by Ryan circulated online.
She is said to have previously implied Brand as being a 'sexual predator' while working on the series Roast Battle together in 2018.
During the show, Katherine's dig, which never made it to air according to Deadline, reportedly said: "I will remind you of that if any victims come out."
Brand worked alongside Katherine as a judge for one season of Comedy Central's Roast Battle, after reportedly being left angry when Katherine allegedly roasted him on camera.
Katherine has previously shared she confronted an unnamed male comedian, who she dubbed a "predator", during a November 2022 documentary with Louis Theroux.
"It’s not really my story to tell," she told Theroux. "No one has perpetrated any sexual assault against me.
"I, in front of loads of people, in the format of the show said to this person’s face that they are a predator."
Russell’s conduct during the height of his fame, between 2006 and 2013, has come under scrutiny this week after four women made allegations about him in an investigation carried out by The Times, The Sunday Times and Channel 4's Dispatches.
One of the women said she had been raped by Russell, while another said she had been sexually assaulted by him after they had started a relationship she was 16 and he was 31.
He denied the allegations in a YouTube video released before the article and documentary went live.
In a video posted to YouTube and X, formerly known as Twitter, he said: "Now, this isn't the usual type of video we make on this channel where we critique, attack and undermine the news in all its corruption because in this story, I am the news.
"I've received two extremely disturbing letters, or a letter and an email. One from a mainstream media TV company, one from a newspaper listing a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks, as well as some pretty stupid stuff like community festival should be stopped, that I shouldn't be able to attack mainstream media narratives on this channel.
"But amidst this litany of astonishing rather baroque attacks, often very serious allegations that I absolutely refute. These allegations pertain to the time when I was working in the mainstream, when I was in the newspapers all the time, when I was in the movies. And as I've written about extensively in my books, I was very, very promiscuous.
"Now, during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely always consensual. I was always transparent about that. Then almost too transparent, and I'm being transparent about it now as well. And to see that transparency metastasized into something criminal that I absolutely deny makes me question, is there another agenda at play?"
