Justin Moore on Friday released a new song from his upcoming album.
“We Didn’t Have Much” is the first single from the untitled album, which is scheduled for release by The Valory Music Co. early next year.
“I’m really excited to get ‘We Didn’t Have Much’ out to country radio,” Moore said in a statement. “It sounds different than any other song we’ve released to radio in my career.”
“I think it’s a poignant lyric for this time in our lives also. 2020 has led my family and I to lead a more simple life than what we are accustomed to. This song speaks to the beauty in that simplicity,” he added.
The lyrics of the song, which takes a sentimental turn, is the result of a joint effort by Jeremy Stover, Randy Montana and Paul DiGiovanni.
“We Didn’t Have Much” was co-produced by Stover and Scott Borchetta, President and CEO of Big Machine Label Group.
Moore released his Live at the Ryman album two weeks ago.
