ITV have announced a big schedule shake-up with a change for Good Morning Britain.
On Thursday’s show, Charlotte Hawkins revealed there is going to be a special edition for the King’s Coronation, which takes place on Saturday 6 May.
Kate Garraway and Adil Ray said they are ‘so excited’ for the show which will provide coverage for the historic event, but details are still vague about when the special episode will air.

But the presenter said: ‘We here at Good Morning Britain are excited for the King’s Coronation. I can confirm we have a special Saturday episode for the King’s Coronation.

The weekend is set to be warm with some spells of sunshine – while forecasters say King Charles’ Coronation is set to be happy and glorious for many, with fine and dry conditions predicted.
Meanwhile, the BBC will air unseen footage of King Charles in a special new documentary.
The broadcaster has announced further details of its upcoming 60-minute film ‘Charles R: The Making of a Monarch’, which will also feature rarely seen footage to tell the king’s journey to the throne over more than 70 years.
The footage shows the Royal Family’s personal moments, including a bonfire at Sandringham, ‘Prince Charles flying solo, and Prince Charles on a private visit to Malta in 1968’.

The programme will be told ‘through His Majesty’s own words, as recorded through the decades’.
