Inside Alison Hammond’s four-bedroom home worth £700k – after she put it up for sale the same day Phillip Schofield quit This Morning
Alison Hammond has put her Birmingham home on the market – on the very same day that Phillip Schofield quit This Morning after 21 years.
The beloved presenter, 48, has put her 700k home in Solihull in the Midlands up for sale.
The move would leave Alison free to be closer to West London, where the ITV studios are based, in case she is given more duties on This Morning.
She currently presents the Friday segment with Dermot O’Leary – as the two have filled in for Holly in the first week since veteran Phillip left the show.
And the Daily Mail has previously reported that Alison is Holly’s favourite to replace him.

Wow: Alison previously showed off her residence in a live segment on This Morning in 2020
A source told The Sun: ‘The timings are entirely coincidental but are, perhaps, telling. Alison loves that house but wants a fresh start. She’s incredibly in demand.
‘It’s looking highly likely she will be asked to do more days a week on This Morning — and therefore she will be spending more time in London.’
Alison’s £700k Birmingham abode boasts a hot tub, dining room and open-plan spacious kitchen, as well as a huge garden.
She moved in during lockdown in 2020, previously showing off her new residence live on This Morning to an admiring Phillip and Holly.
The presenter appeared live from her living room which boasts a wall covered with her mementos of her TV career, a sleek white dining table and large mirrors
It went on the market on Thursday as ITV bosses staged emergency talks with Phillip about his exit, before he quit the show for good on Saturday.
Alison is clearly a rising star on TV – as in March she was announced as the new presenter for the Great British Bake Off.
She first became a household name when she appeared on Big Brother in 2002, a decision she later revealed was down to wanting to clear her ‘traumatising debt’.

Despite her humble beginnings, Alison has even gone on to host the BAFTAs with Richard E. Grant.
She’s also starred on more reality TV, appearing on I’m A Celebrity in 2010 and Celebrity Masterchef in 2014 and Celebrity Fit Club, to name a few.
As of 2023, the TV star is estimated to be worth anywhere in between £2-4million – a far cry from the days in which she was struggling to make ends meet.
In a statement released on Saturday, Phillip said: ‘I have always been proud to cover fascinating stories on This Morning. But recently, This Morning itself has become the story.
‘Throughout my career in TV – including the very difficult last few days – I have always done my best to be honourable and kind.
‘I understand that ITV has decided the current situation can’t go on, and I want to do what I can to protect the show that I love.
‘So I have agreed to step down from This Morning with immediate effect, in the hope that the show can move forward to a bright future.
‘I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me – especially This Morning’s amazing viewers – and I’ll see you all for the Soap Awards next month.’
