Hrithik Roshan has THIS to say about his part in Satte Pe Satta remake | Bollywood Life

Hrithik Roshan is back to the silver screen and how! The actor is earning accolades for his project Super 30 and his portrayal as a mathematician Anand Kumar on the big screen has been accepted well. Amidst all of this, it was being reported that the Greek god of Bollywood is ready to step into the shoes of Amitabh Bachchan for the remake of Satte Pe Satta, to be helmed by Farah Khan.

A source close to this development had said, “Hrithik will be playing the lead actor role in Satte pe Satta and everybody is looking forward to it. Satte Pe Satta will mark the first-ever collaboration between actor-director, Hrithik Roshan and Rohit Shetty. The news has taken the internet by storm as the trio Actor-Director-Producer is collaborating for the classic film Satte Pe Satta and Hrithik’s next has already got the audience excited as the nation awaits the release of Super 30 already.”

However, recently when TimesNow enquired to Hrithik about the same, he said, “No. I don’t think you should go by news like that. Until I say what my next film is, I don’t think you should. As I said, let me first look at which films I should do next. I will let you know.”

We will have to wait for an official announcement itself. While the buzz about Hrithik’s part remains to stay strong, reports also suggest that Deepika Padukone will be seen opposite HR in the remake of Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini starrer. And if this happens, Deepika and Hrithik will collaborate for the first time for a movie, which we feel will be just amazing.

As of now, HR is overjoyed with the positive reviews of Super 30. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film is a biopic of Anand Kumar and his educational programme Super 30. Besides this, HR is also sharing screen space with Tiger Shroff in an untitled YRF film.

On the other hand, Deepika returns to movies after two years with Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak. The movie is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. DP plays the titular role whereas Vikrant Massey plays his love interest. Chhapaak releases on January 10, 2020. That being said, Deepika also reunites with her husband Ranveer Singh on the 70mm screen for Kabir Khan’s ’83.
