BBC Breakfast Dan Walker, 43, used a snap of Prince Harry, 36, looking embarrassed to represent his awkwardness, after sending a text which said “I uterus you” instead of “I trust you”. The presenter discussed the mishap on his Instagram and Twitter pages.
In view of his 168,000 followers, he wrote: “Instead of texting someone, ‘I trust you’ I have just sent ‘I uterus you’.
“On an awkwardness scale of 1-100 where are you putting this?”
Many of his fans shared their thoughts on his post.
One joked: “To womb did you send it??”
“100 + 1,” a second added of the awkward moment.
“Depends who you are sending it to,” a third wrote, alongside multiple crying with laughter emojis.
A fourth commented: “Definitely up at the top of awkwardness!”
Dan also shared the post in view of his 684,000 fans on the micro-blogging site.
Sports presenter Manish Bhasin joked: “I uterus you apologised?”
“Thank you for your cervix,” Dan replied alongside a grimacing face emoji.
It’s not the first time Dan has joked about a mishap of his online.
Last year, he wrote “aisle” incorrectly in a Twitter post.

The father-of-three shared a picture of himself with darts world champion John ‘Boy’ Walton in his local shop.
He commented: “What a treat to bump into 2001 darts World Champion John ‘Boy’ Walton – who is working at our local @coop_food in Sheffield.
“Lovely chat in the home baking and canned fish isle #CottonEyeJoe #Arrars @BDOdarts @OfficialPDC.”(sic)
Fans pointed out that he had used the wrong spelling in the post.
Journalist Hamish Arnold retweeted Dan’s post and replied: “Isle”, alongside a see-no-evil monkey emoji.
Acknowledging his mishap, he wrote back: “I’ve just spotted that… unbelievable.”
Dan followed up his post writing: “By the way… where did ‘isle’ come from? Sorry – AISLE [crying with laughter emoji].”
