Christine Brown: I’m SOOOOOO Happy Without Kody, Y’all!

Christine Brown is officially on the market.

And she’s also on Cameo.

The veteran Sister Wives star surprised a host of followers one week ago when she announced she was leaving her spiritual husband after well more than two decades as a polygamous spouse.

We know she was unhappy.

But we still didn’t know Brown would take this monumental step.

“After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave,” Christine wrote on Instagram.

“We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family.”

Christine and Kody Brown share six kids and will also share screen time this fall and winter on Sister Wives Season 16.

As for how Christine is holding back in Utah? In the wake of this break-up?

The TLC personality was hired to deliver a message on the video platform Cameo over the weekend — and she didn’t hold back!

“Thank you for supporting me with leaving Kody, the decision was a long time coming and I feel like a much better person divorced than I ever did,” Christine told a fan.

“Life is so great. Like, I had no idea life could be simple. I had no idea it could be simple.”

This is so wonderful to hear, and it makes perfect sense.

Forget trying to satisfy a selfish husband (who isn’t even technically your husband). Forget worrying about what other sister wives are thinking or doing.

Just focus on yourself and your own happiness.

That is Christine’s only mission these days.

“It’s a phenomenal world, it’s a whole new world,” Christine continued on Cameo, scarcely even trying to pretend that she has any regrets.

“I hope that Kody and I can still remain friends during all of this, cause we’ve been still communicating with each other and stuff.

“I mean, good and bad days, don’t get me wrong…

“But we have a life still together after this because we have kids to raise and [our daughter] Truley’s 11, so we have to just be good [and] amiable… I think it’s just important to remember that.”

Kody released his own statement after Christine confirmed she was done with his insensitive nonsense.

We doubt he’ll have a problem remaining on decent terms with his ex because he doesn’t seem to care that she’s left him. There’s no bitterness here.

“Christine’s decision to leave comes with a great deal of sadness,” Kody wrote on social media last week, adding:

“We enjoyed many years together and I have a large amount of respect and admiration for her.

“Although we are moving forward on different paths, we will always remain committed parents.”

In another Cameo video, Christine assured her recipient that the next season of Sister Wives is going to be “REALLY good,” maybe because it will focus on tension between Kody and his spouses.

“I could see it coming,” Christine’s aunt, Kristyn Decker, said last week on a podcast about this quasi divorce.

She added of her niece:

“I don’t think Christine’s been genuinely — what I call genuinely happy — for forever, since day one.”

The new season of Sister Wives premieres Sunday, November 21 on TLC at 10/9c.
