Christina Aguilera on Britney Spears’ memoir
Britney Spears made an unexpected return to Instagram just hours after deleting her page on Saturday morning.
The mounting pressure of her bombshell memoir release just days away seemingly got the better of the pop star over the weekend as she briefly deleted her page after a heartbreaking message about “offending people”.
But the 41-year-old didn’t leave fans hanging for too long as she uploaded a clip on Saturday night modelling a mini dress that was simultaneously new and old.
The Toxic singer explained in the caption that she had never worn the elegant white number before and had “no idea” why she “waited three years to wear it”.
Unfortunately, it didn’t go to plan for the mother-of-two as she revealed it had “snapped in the back when I started shooting”.

With Cardi B, Bad Bunny and J Balvin’s I Like It playing over the video, Britney modeled her broken dress, with one hand firmly planted behind her back keeping the gown together and coincidentally highlighting her enviable figure, cinching her waist and hugging her curves.
The former Disney star, who goes by Maria River Red on the social media platform, opted for very little makeup and styled her blonde locks to one side, showing off the elegant shoulder ruffles and faux see-through material covering her chest.
Although she couldn’t move as much as she usually does in her energetic posts, Britney made sure to give fans a worthy show, strutting and modeling the broken dress to the best of her abilities on a pair of nude stiletto heels.
The post comes after Britney briefly deleted her Instagram page just four days away from her highly-anticipated book release.

A number of bombshells from her memoir, The Woman In Me, have already been published by a number of outlets, including insights into why she shaved her head in 2007 and harrowing recollections of her early days in the music industry.
However, the advanced excerpts have also offered a number of sensational claims against other well-known stars, as she recounted allegedly having to get an abortion in the early 2000s as her then-boyfriend Justin Timberlake felt he “didn’t want to be a father” and that her father fat-shamed her as a child.
Following some backlash from the excerpts, Britney released a heartfelt message on her social media before deleting her page, assuring that she hadn’t meant to “offend anyone by any means”.
Speaking about the revelations that have been making global headlines for the past week, the pop star said: “That was me then…that is in the past!!!
“Most of the book is from 20 years ago…I have moved on and it’s a beautiful clean slate from here!!! I am here to establish it that way for the rest of my entire life!!!”
