Judge Brenda Penny is defended by her son, ‘Insecure’ producer Prentice Penny, after she reportedly received racist threats amid Britney conservatorship woes.
AceShowbiz -The judge overseeing the Britney Spears conservatorship case has been rocked by racist threats, according to her producer son.
Judge Brenda Penny‘s kid is “Insecure” executive producer Prentice Penny, and in a recent appearance on the “Clay Cane Show“, he opened up about what his mum is going through as she tries to come to a decision about Britney’s future, while fighting off members of the #FreeBritney movement, who think she’s vile.
“My mom’s a black woman in America, she’s a tough lady,” he said. “I’m very proud of my mom.”
“I hate when something gets to be an excuse to be racist, because that case has real issues… and I think it’s sad that, like, whomever would use it as an excuse to espouse racist names and ideas… It’s sad and it feels unnecessary.”
Judge Penny faced online death threats earlier this year (21) after she decided against suspending Jamie Spears as his daughter’s conservator.
Jamie Spears has since stepped down as Britney’s conservator and entered a plea to end the conservatorship altogether.
However, Britney’s lawyer Mathew Rosengart was not really impressed by Jamie’s move. The attorney suggested Jamie tried to dodge responsibility for any possible misconduct by putting an end to the arrangement amid reports of extreme surveillance to control his daughter.
Britney’s affairs are now managed by Jamie’s co-conservator Jodi Montgomery who insisted Britney wanted her to stay despite the star’s public plea in front of judge that she wanted to be freed from conservatorship.
Before Jamie quit, he was embroiled in a feud with Jodi as both of them refused to take the blame after the singer alleged conservatorhip abuse.
