Brian McFadden has revealed his fiancee Danielle Parkinson has reached the halfway point in her pregnancy.

Former Westlife star Brian shared a snap of their unborn baby’s ultrasound on Instagram as he expressed his excitement at becoming a father again.

He captioned the snap: “Baby Mac!! We’re half way there. X”

TOWIE star James Argent commented underneath the snap saying: “So excited for you both!!!”

Mike Tindall wrote: “So happy for you guys!!!!!”, while James Jordan said: “So happy for you both.”

Brian’s fans also flooded the comment section with messages of support and congratulations.

Earlier this year the pair exclusively revealed to OK! that they are expecting a child together after suffering from devastating miscarriages.

After trying to fall pregnant naturally for two years, Brian, 40, and Dani, 39, sought IVF treatment. Dani then fell pregnant twice, but tragically both pregnancies ended in miscarriage, after which, they told OK! they were “devastated”.

Reflecting on their past loss, Danielle says she's been showered with support from women who have been a similar ordeal.

She says: "It does [feel like a miracle] but I feel awful saying that, as I’ve had so many messages on Instagram. The IVF community is so lovely and I’ve heard real traumatic stories from people who have been trying for 10 years, people who have had eight-plus miscarriages, so I feel we got lucky on our third attempt."

They also gave credit to pals Mike Tindall and Zara Phillips for putting them in touch with a specialist nutrition expert who created a diet plan they believe helped them conceive.

"Mike and Zara put us in touch with Simone the nutritionist who got us prepared for this time," Brian says. "After we had the miscarriage, we sat with them and talked. This woman would put us on a certain diet, and Mike guaranteed it would work. He was completely right."

Brian already shares daughters Molly, 19, and Lilly, 17, while this baby will be former PE teacher Dani’s first.
