Boy George accuses British Airways of ‘leaving everyone in first class waiting’ while Victoria Beckham got ‘picked up at the aircraft’ in vitriolic tweet
Boy George has claimed that British Airways left passengers waiting in first class for ‘steps’ while Victoria Beckham was whisked away at the aircraft.
The singer, 61, who is in the midst of a string of concerts with his 80s heyday band Culture Club, took to Twitter to vent his frustration on Wednesday afternoon but has since deleted the tweet.
It read: ‘Nice touch for @britishairways to leave everyone in first class waiting for steps while Victoria Beckham’s car picks her up at the aircraft’.

The frontman continued and concluded on an angry note: ‘Proper going to avoid flying BA for a while!’
Culture Club have been touring the USA for the past two weeks and despite Boy George not disclosing his destination, it is likely to be the UK as the trio – also comprising Roy Hay and Mikey Craig – are set to perform at London’s Kenwood House on Friday night.
While Spice Girl Victoria has not documented recent travels, her husband David and their ten-year-old daughter Harper have been spending quality time together in Venice.
MailOnline has contacted representatives for Victoria Beckham and British Airways for comment.

This is not the sole occasion the artist, whose real name is George Alan O’Dowd, has spoken out about the fashion designer.
In 2018, he revealed he was once taken down a peg or two by Posh Spice.
Years ago, the no-nonsense star asked for Victoria’s autograph when they met at a radio station, and was rebutted by her.
He told Kyle and Jackie O the hilarious anecdote during an interview on their KIIS 1065 radio show.

‘She’s a little bit more serious now isn’t she, but this was a fun moment in her life,’ explained George, before revealing she’d written some rude words on a card for him.
‘I nabbed her at a radio station and said will you write something funny on this for me and she wouldn’t write what I asked her to write, but she wrote, “To the b***h, f**k off!”” he said.

In 2016, George forbid solo singer Vangelis from performing the band’s 1997 hit Viva Forever, before launching into a seething attack on the Girl Power five-piece.
He scathed: ‘The Spice Girls are awful. I hate them. They’ve just got nothing to say.
‘Girl power. Yeah, and what the f*** is girl power? F*** the Spice Girls.
‘They are a cynical corporate creation and proof that a good stylist is more important than a good melody.’
