The Los Angeles native was due to appear in court on charges of attempted murder on Wednesday, June 7 when he was taken into custody for his involvement in an alleged robbery.
AceShowbiz –Blueface‘s legal issue is piling up. The 26-year-old rapper has been arrested on robbery charge and taken into custody during an appearance in the courthouse in Las Vegas for a separate case of attempted murder.
According to court records, Blueface was due to appear in court on Wednesday, June 7 for a preliminary hearing for his attempted murder charges. While he was in the courthouse, he was taken into custody and charged with a felony for the alleged robbery.
The details of the alleged robbery have not been made available as of press time. Even Blueface’s lawyers Lisa Rasmussen and Kristina Wildeveld are in the dark on the specifics behind the new arrest, but they told TMZ, “We look forward to vigorously defending him on both cases.”
According to the Clark County Detention Center website, the Los Angeles native is being held on $20,000 bond for the charge. His next hearing for the robbery charge is scheduled for Thursday, June 8.
As for Blueface’s charge for attempted murder, it stemmed from his night at the Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club in Las Vegas on October 8. The alleged target had apparently joked about Blueface chatting with “some females in a cheap vehicle.” The “Thotiana” hitmaker didn’t like the joke and members of his entourage allegedly hit the man “multiple times.”
The man later returned to the club in his truck and asked the crew, “Who hit me?!” But Blueface and his crew might have thought he was “going for a gun,” leading to the rapper allegedly firing shots at the man’s truck as he fled. Cops claimed they did find bullet marks on the truck while its owner suffered what appeared to be a “bullet graze wound” on his left hand.
While Blueface maintained his innocence, a man claiming to be the owner of the club blamed the rapper for getting the establishment permanently shut down. He said the club was forced to close because of the “gang-related activities” Blueface brought to the venue.
Blueface was arrested and booked into Clark County Detention Center for attempted murder before appearing in court on November 16. He was later released from police custody on a $50,000 bail. His next hearing for the attempted murder case will be on June 14.
