GBBO: Abbi in tears as she is the next baker eliminated
Great British Bake Off fans were left fuming that judges made the “wrong decision”, as Abbi became the latest contestant to be eliminated in Week Three.
Viewers flocked to X, formally known as Twitter, to voice their reaction to the elimination.
One person posted: “Wrong, wrong, wrong decision. #JusticeForAbi ! #GBBO.”
A second typed: “No idea why Abbi was chosen to go. Dan in particular is a very lucky boy to have stayed in #GBBO.”
A third commented: “Dan literally presented raw dough and got through? Abbi was so much better. Nonsense decision. #GBBO.”

A fourth chimed in: “Absolutely criminal that someone who literally forgot their sugar, came last in the technical, and served raw bread was kept and Abbi was sent home.”
A fifth said: “What!!!!!!! Not watching it again, no way should Abbi have been sent home. Feels like she’s been picked on for some reason.” (sic)
A sixth fan typed: “Ah I thought this was the wrong decision this week, imo she seemed to do enough in the showstopper to save herself.” (sic)
The third week was Bread Week, which saw the remaining talented bakers produce brilliant works of art for the judges.
Despite being eliminated, Abbi remained in high spirits and said that she had a “truly wonderful time.”
She said: “I’m really proud of myself. I’d never thought I’d be able to do this.
“It’s given me such a massive confidence boost and I’ve met such amazing people.”
Next week is Chocolate Week and will not be aired on its usual Tuesday slot due to the football.
Great British Bake Off continues next Wednesday at 8pm on Channel 4.
