A$AP Rocky recently released a music video for his latest single, “Riot (Rowdy Pipe’n).”
The Rocky-directed video, starts with the war cry “Flacko got the tank!” and features A$AP as the leader of an impromptu coup that looks more like a wild block party.
Rocky’s men, clad in matching outfits that consist of blue jeans, white t-shirts, and white ski masks, are seen marching alongside a procession of tanks as they take over a faceless urban landscape and standing besides flashy cars. The striking visual also features prominent placements of the American flag, beckoning new interpretations of the symbol.
The video also shows Rocky flashing a tube bearing a Fenty Skin label when he raps, “Flossy, glossy/ Nah, b—h, this ain’t lip gloss/ Luxe balm up in my palm/ New collab’ with my baby mom.”
“Riot (Rowdy Pipe’n),” the lead single from Rocky’s upcoming fourth studio LP Don’t Be Dumb, was produced by Pharrell Williams. The song arrived on July 20 and marked Rocky’s first new solo single this year.
