Unimpressed Good Morning Britain viewers flocked to Twitter to expose a magic trick, which some brutally branded "more tragic than magic".
Billed as "the magician who wowed Drake, Julius Dean appeared on GMB to show off his skills to Kate Garraway and Eamonn Holmes.
Grinning, he performed his first trick – which saw him ‘mysteriously’ lift his glasses into the air without touching them.
Only, viewers noticed the thread connecting his hand to the glasses. Oops.
Of course, viewers were very amused by the mishap and took to Twitter to call out the trick.
One tweeted: "#string worst display of a trick I’ve ever seen live on TV."
Magic tricks exposed
While another commented: "With a piece of string everyone clearly saw."
A third remarked: "Magic ?? Tragic is closer."
"Yes….you could clearly see the black thread!!! I’m currently levitating a black sock," another pointed out.
Another sarcastically remarked: " Amazing trick, how he got that thread on his glasses I’ll never know."
One commented: "Anyone else see it? The thread was dark and quite plain to see. What a joke."
Julius shouldn’t feel too upset about the mishap – after all, this certainly isn’t the first time viewers have exposed a magician’s trick live on air.
Back in May, Britain’s Got Talent viewers managed to expose Marc Spelmann’s trick after spotting some damning evidence .
