The Punjab State School Education Board (PSEB) has decided to give four grace marks to students for misprint in one of the sets of Class 10 maths question paper held on Friday.
The maths exam left students confused as a four-mark question was missing in the English version of the paper. In set C, question number 22 was not printed. The question was not printed in the English version while it was there in Hindi and Punjabi versions of the paper.
A meeting of the examination and academic branch was held to find a solution to the problem arising due to non-printing of the question. “After deliberations, it was decided that four grace marks would be given to students who attempted the paper from the set C of question paper printed in English,” according to an official statement.
