School students have contributed Rs. 12.80 crore to the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund. This is the amount recorded on the Sampoorna portal till 6 p.m. on Wednesday, the second day of fund collection. As many as 12,862 schools, including 10,945 schools from lower primary to high schools, 1,705 higher secondary and vocational higher secondary schools, and 212 CBSE and ICSE schools, have contributed. The maximum amount was donated by Government Girls VHSS, Nadakkavu, Kozhikode — Rs. 10.05 lakh.
