Sonja Morgan suffered a wardrobe malfunction the first time she joined pal Luann de Lesseps onstage for her “Countess and Friends” cabaret show, but she would do it again.
“I want to jump onstage with Luann whenever I can, but, unfortunately, sometimes I forget to tie my dress and it falls off,” Morgan, 55, quipped at WE tv’s “Bridezillas” event in New York City Wednesday night. “I coined the word ‘cabrulesque,’ so whenever the cabaret queen asks me, I am there.”
De Lesseps, 53, has been performing her show since February 2018 amid a difficult time for her, which included a drunken arrest in December 2017 and two rehab stints.
Her comeback will be featured on Season 11 of “The Real Housewives of New York City,” which co-star Morgan says also features many moments in which de Lesseps and Dorinda Medley are “going at it.”
While Morgan normally likes to be “Switzerland” and remain neutral, the reality star said she felt the need to back up the Countess this season.
“I’m protective of Luann,” Morgan said. “She has to keep it emotionally under control right now, so she doesn’t relapse.”
