Salman Khan won’t let Inshallah clash with Sooryavanshi, believes Katrina Kaif | Bollywood Life

Last month, Karan Johar announced Eid 2020 as the release date of Sooryavanshi featuring Akshay Kumar. Needless to say, people assumed that it may clash with a Salman Khan film and it turned out to be true. Days after the announcement of Sooryavanshi’s release reports suggested that Khan was eyeing Eid release for Inshallah. And everyone was ready to witness the biggest clash of 2020. It was even said that Akshay spoke to Salman regarding the release date of his cop-drama and the latter seemed to be okay with it. As of now, the box office battle between Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s Sooryavanshi and Salman Khan- Alia Bhatt’s Inshallah is on.

But, the leading lady of Rohit Shetty’s directorial feels Salman won’t let these two big-budget lock horns at the box office. During a recent interview with DNA, the Ek Tha Tiger actress said, “Salman loves Akshay, he loves Rohit. He will always be supportive of me in the work place. So, I don’t think he will let his film clash with Sooryavanshi.” We buy Katrina’s thought and hope the movies don’t clash as it may temper the box office numbers.

Expressing her excitement to be back on the same set as Akshay Kumar, she added, “On so many levels, Akshay is so special. Ours is a long association and that doesn’t go away with time. When I was standing next to him on the terrace shooting for the photograph that we did to announce the film, I was genuinely happy. It was a good feeling.”

Currently, Kat is gearing up for the release of Bharat. The actress stepped into the shoes of Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ exit from Ali Abbas Zafar’s movie. She will be seen romancing Salman Khan in the film. Jackie Shroff, Nora Fatehi, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover, Sonali Kulkarni and Tabu have key roles in the official remake of An Ode To My Father.

Bharat, produced by T Series and Reel Production Pvt Ltd, releases on June 5 (Eid).
