Katie Price accused of faking rehab as she confirms she filmed recovery

Fans have branded Katie Price ‘fake’ after she admitted filming her rehab stint for TV.

The former glamour model confirmed her treatment at The Priory is over earlier today when she revealed that she’s ‘forgiven’ herself for her drink and drugs antics.

And plugging the forthcoming two-part special of her reality series, My Crazy Life, she admitted she’s recorded the whole fiasco.

"Things have really hit rock bottom since the last series of My Crazy Life a few months ago. But the only way is up," she said in a statement.

"It’s time to get my life back on track and be the best mum in the world for my kids. I’m excited to get back to doing what I love and to tell my side of the story.”

But viewers have hit back, accusing her of staging the rehab stay to make material for her show.

"She never went into rehab. She went to the driveway at the priory for a photograph. Planning a comeback and the first thing you say is a lie!" raged one angry fan.

"Spare me she never went in," another ranted.

Earlier today she took to Instagram to declare she’s ‘back’, writing, "I have my own story. I am not perfect. I am healing. I am learning everyday. I am a real person. I have feelings.

She continued, "I am doing the best I can do. I am being the best person and mother I can be. I have taken the time I needed to understand myself. This is now my time. I am back."

However, others have suggested the time has come for her to step back from social media.

"Why are you "back"? You will gain nothing from being on social media other than harsh comments and criticism. Take care of your family and your Mum and put yourself back together properly before returning to the circus. Good Luck," advised one.

Katie entered rehab after being caught on camera rapping ‘I love coke’ on a wild night out in Majorca.

Then last month she was arrested in the early hours of the morning after allegedly crashing her pink Range Rover into a bush whilst drunk.
