The makers of Arjun Kapoor starrer India’s Most Wanted have just dropped the teaser of the film and undoubtedly, it promises to be a riveting affair. Based on a true event, the promo starts the voice-over of India’s most wanted terrorist, who says, “The soul does not perish, it is the body that dies. I am not killing people, I am sending their souls in the new bodies. These are not my words, it is Shri Krishna, who said this in Gita.” Also known as India’s Osama, he is a mastermind behind 52 blasts, which happened between 2007 to 2013 in the parts of Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Jaipur. These terrorist attacks took 410 lives while 833 people were seriously injured.
Arjun Kapoor, along with his team, undertakes the mission to hunt down this terrorist but the twist is that this operation has to be executed with guts, sans guns. Arjun is essaying the role of an intelligence officer for the first time on the silver screen. The film also stars Prasanth Alexandrr, Gaurav Mishra, Aasif Khan, Santilal Mukherjee, Bajrangbali Singh and Pravin Singh Sisodia in key roles. The film is directed by Rajkumar Gupta, who previously helmed films like Raid, Ghanchakkar, No One Killed Jessica and Aamir. The music of India’s Most Wanted is composed by Amit Trivedi and it is scheduled to hit the screens on May 24. It is produced under the banner of Fox Star Studios.
Meanwhile, Arjun Kapoor is currently shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker’s Panipat. He is playing the role of Sadashivrao Bhau, who served as the Sardar Senapati (Commander-in-Chief) of the Maratha army during the third battle of Panipat. Sanjay Dutt is portraying the role of Ahmad Shah Durrani (Shah of Durrani Empire), who emerged victorious in the third battle of Panipat. As for Kriti Sanon, she essay the role of Sadashivrao’s second wife, Parvatibai. The music of Panipat will be composed by award-winning duo Ajay-Atul. It is set to hit the screens on December 6.
