Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha starrer Dream Girl has been an enjoying a phenomenal run at the box office and how! The Raaj Shaandilyaa directorial has been tickling audiences since its release and has made a streak of its own. Not just positive word of mouth but, the film has also been performing wonders at the box office. If you are not in the know, the film managed to garner Rs 72.20 crore in the first week of its release which was followed by a steady Rs 25.45 crore in week two. Needless to say, the moolah is still raking and the rom-com has finally crossed the 100 crores mark at the ticket windows!

That’s right, after emerging as the fourth-highest second weekend grosser of 2019, the Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha film has entered the coveted 100 crores club. Reportedly, the film collected 3.75CR on Monday which takes the total to 101.40 cr in just 11 days! Ayushmann has gone ahead and thanked his fans for all the love.

Even producer Ekta Kapoor took to Twitter and wrote, “Wooooooohooooo!!!! Poojaaa has crossed 100CR ! My 2 Nd one after 5 years ( 1 st was #ekvillian) Thanku team #DreamGirl THANKU AUDIENCE”

Talking about the film, Ayushmann plays the role of a tele-caller who impersonates his female alter ego Pooja while calling up customers. Unaware of the originality of the situation, his customers can be seen falling for his alter ego who they hail as their ‘Dream Girl’. Predicting the business of ‘Dream Girl’ at the box-office, Kapoor said, “I feel this film is definitely going to work. It will do business of more than 180 crores. More specifically, it’s going to do business between 178 crores to 187 crores.
