Dog the Bounty Hunter star Beth Chapman is reportedly fighting for her life after being placed in a medically-induced coma over the weekend.
Sources say the situation is ‘touch and go’ for Beth in her fight against cancer, while husband Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman holds a vigil with family at Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Dog asked for prayers when his wife was admitted to an intensive care unit on Saturday, after what The Blast now claims was a ‘choking incident’.
Three days later, the report is suggesting that doctors are making sure Beth is ‘as comfortable as possible’ after removing her ventilation tube.
Representatives for Beth Chapman have been contacted by Metro.co.uk for comment.
Beth has been in an and out of hospital with breathing difficulties related to cancer throughout 2019.
She had an emergency operation to remove a mass in her throat last year, after revealing that her cancer had spread to her throat and lungs.
The reality TV star, best known for catching fugitives with her husband on Dog The Bounty Hunter, discovered that her cancer had returned in December 2018 and she began chemotherapy, immediately.
Even when her cancer was declared ‘incurable’, Beth insisted that she spend her last days on the hunt with Dog, making their new series Dog’s Most Wanted, and ‘living life to the fullest’.
Dog recently said: ‘My baby has cancer and she is fighting like hell. I have cried a lot over this because Beth is my everything.
‘Despite all of the obstacles I have overcome, this is by far the biggest test of my life and mark my words, I will not let her die.
‘She is my rock and my bodyguard. I will do everything I can to keep her here.’
Beth was previously fighting stage two cancer diagnosis in September 2017 but within a few months said that she was cancer-free.
