#BLBestOf3: The Final Call BEATS Made In Heaven and Delhi Crime to bag best web content of 2019’s first quarter | BollywoodLife

How many of us were glued to the small screens during the first quarter of 2019? We sure were and while we loved every web show and film, our readers found some content better than others. As part of our ongoing series, #BLBestOf3, we decided to ask our followers on Twitter to pick their favourite web content from the first quarter. We gave them four choices: The Final Call, Made In Heaven, Sholay Girl and Delhi Crimes. And they have made their decision. Viewers chose ZEE5’s The Final Call as the winner of the poll.

The Final Call: 41% votes

The Zee5 show featuring Arjun Rampal, Neeraj Kabi, Javed Jaffrey and Sakshi Tanwar won the poll with 41 per cent votes. The show tells the story of a pilot, Captain Karan Sachdev, who decides to end his life on a flight he’s flying, endangering 300 plus passengers’ lives flying on board. Through the eight episodes, the web show keeps you on the edge of your seats.

Made In Heaven: 34% votes

The second best choice, as per the audience, was Amazon Prime’s Made In Heaven. About 34 per cent of voters casted their votes to this show. The wedding-themed show by Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti and Alankrita Shrivastava takes us through the behind-the-scenes of a perfect wedding. There were several tales intertwined with the common thread – the wedding planning company and we couldn’t stop binge watching it.

Delhi Crime: 20% votes

Delhi Crime took the third spot. The Netflix series was based on the infamous Nirbhaya Case and it sent chills down our spine. The show was shot from the perspective of the cops. Renowned actress Shefali Shah took the lead as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi in the series while Rasika Dugal joined her to unfold the horrific case which shook the nation.

Sholay Girl: 5% votes

The fourth name on our poll was Sholay Girl. Another Zee5 presentation, the web film explores the life and struggles of Reshma Pathan, Bollywood’s first stunt woman. It is an account of what went into the making of some of the most iconic stunts in Hindi cinema back in 1970s and 80s.
